We craft podcasts, audio stories, & video shorts that powerfully demonstrate how your organization changes lives.
Michigan Council for arts & Culture: EBony Road Players//Edye Evans-Hyde
We worked with the Michigan Arts and Culture Council for their Creating Connection initative, sharing first-person stories of Michiganders whose lives were positively impacted by community organizations funded by the Council. This three-year project yielded 17 audio stories, many of which aired on Michigan Radio. Each story also had a video short designed for social media. One of our favorites was from Edye Evans Hyde, founder of a Black theatre company in Grand Rapids. Click below for links for the entire MCAA+Long Haul Creating Connection program, audio & video.
University of Notre Dame Environmental Change Institute: Dr. Diogo Bolster
We worked with Notre Dame’s Enviromental Change Institute to share stories of their amazing faculty and the important work they’re doing in the classroom, in the lab, and in the world. This work currenty continues with another project, which will be released in the fall of 2022. This story from Professor Diogo Bolster, in which he admits to his humiliation after failing a key qualifying exam as a student, is one he still shares with his own students today.
The Nature Conservancy: Nachusa Volunteers
We profiled two volunteers at The Nature Conservancy's Nachusa Grasslands preserve in north-central Illinois. TNC paired the audio with visuals for fundraising and volunteer celebration events & used transcribed excerpts in print materials. The story also aired on NPR & Chicago Public Radio.
