If you listen to public radio on a regular basis, you undoubtedly already understand the undeniable power of story. A powerful vignette can keep us sitting in our car, glued to the radio until the story ends. It can also rally people to action ... maybe convincing them to to volunteer for a local nature preserve, to donate umbilical cord blood, or support the work of a foundation.
We've produced audio vignettes and slideshows for nature conservancies, major foundations, and health education groups. We work carefully with each group to understand what they want to convey, and who's best able to convey it. And the results – podcasts for organization websites, audio vignettes for online annual reports, audio slideshows projected in doctors' offices, stories especially produced to rally the troops at a fundraising event - are golden.
We'll be posting more of our work with StoryCorps, the Kellogg Foundation, NatureServe, Southwest Michigan Land Conservancy, HealthConnect One, and others here in the coming weeks.
